I love watching my students and clients discover parts of themselves they’ve stowed away for years, and sometimes, decades. We’re all more capable than we give ourselves credit for.
My tenth-grade English teacher once told me, "You'll never be a writer. It's a good thing you have strong math skills." At 16, I believed him. For decades, I wanted to write my story but had no idea where to start. And I didn’t think I could write.
In 2025, I discovered the Guided Autobiography class at Bellevue College. On the first day, uncertain if I'd return, we received a simple prompt: 'Tell me about a kitchen from your childhood'. Words poured out from somewhere I didn't know existed. Forgotten memories and details surfaced. It was extraordinary.
I couldn't wait to start my homework—a 2-page essay on a new topic. When we shared our work the following week, I was captivated by my group members' voices and perspectives. I also felt proud when I shared my story.
Week by week, our bond deepened through shared stories. After the eighth class, none of us wanted it to end, so we signed up for another round. Then we kept meeting over the summer. We're still together today.
I discovered the writer who'd been dormant inside me all along. The experience was so transformative that I am now certified to teach this process and am writing my own memoir. I hope you'll find this experience as meaningful as I have.
My Story
I was always the new kid at school, having attended 9 different schools in the span of 12 years. I often felt overlooked because I wasn’t part of the main group. I was always leaving or arriving and didn’t know where I belonged.
As I matured, I became skilled at fitting in, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and becoming a chameleon to blend into my environment.
I learned to overwork to prove my value and my worth. To find success, I learned to value masculine traits in the corporate environment. I focused on goals and put people second. But I found myself exhausted, unfulfilled, and resentful. I got very good at compartmentalizing many parts of myself to fit in and it was no longer working.
Through coaching, I learned to discover and value all parts of myself. I learned to put people first and to nurture relationships. I started to dare myself to speak up and share my point of view. I’m no longer overlooking parts of myself, and I’ve learned to embrace the great and not-so-great pieces of me.
Coaching has helped me to move forward even when I felt fear and to believe in myself and the possibilities ahead.
My reason for becoming a coach is
To help you reconnect with who you are, to dare to become more whole, and to bring all of yourself to each day.
To stop allowing yourself to be overlooked daring to shine your unique, extraordinary light.
To get out of your own way and believe in the value you bring just by being you.
Yes, you can.
“I love watching my clients dare to take a step toward their dreams!”

Coaching Values
PLAY & CREATIVITY
I believe in the value of play and creativity in discovering our strengths and values. The logical mind often hides our more uncertain and vulnerable side. Play and creativity bring forward a way to look at ourselves in a more compassionate and loving way. They’re an essential part of our humanity.
POSITIVITY
The only thing holding most people back is the belief that they can. Most everything else is an excuse. My work as a coach is to help you define where you’d like to go and to help you start believing you can get there. You can do hard things. I’m here to support you as you take steps in that direction.
CONNECTION
& TRUST
I believe that the core of a successful coaching experience is honesty, open connection, and trust. Most of our behaviors are the result of unconscious thought, and to change them, we need to go deep to understand those drivers. This only happens when there’s connection and trust.
